Navigating a Website Redesign? You Are Going to Need a Plan.

Underwater and out of air, how do you come up to breathe? That can be a challenge when you’re 20 feet under the ocean’s surface. It’s not just air that you come up for. You need to make sure you are still in sight of the boat, your team, your designated area, and so on. You can’t wait to go down, then you can’t wait to come back up.

This may be a familiar – and sometimes uncomfortable – feeling to a marketing coordinator tasked with a website redesign project.  Where exactly are you going to begin? Do you need to think about updating your company’s branding? Was this decision made because of something that the competition is doing? Though you may not have all the answers yet, there is one thing you are sure of: You are going to need a plan.

When it comes to helping our clients navigate these waters, planning is what puts SPINEN ahead of the curve. We believe that in order to provide the quality of work our clients have come to expect and help our clients get to where they want to go, we need to have a roadmap in place. Sitting down and making sure that everyone is aware of the challenges, the plan, and every person’s role in the plan’s execution is the difference in running a project, and running from a project.

I don’t want you to get the impression that your job is going to be easy. As the company’s marketing coordinator, you’re going to have to obtain information, manage schedules, and wrangle executives to slow down and focus on getting us answers to serious questions about your audience and business objectives.

As part of the exploratory process, we will help make your job easier by asking lots of questions. How do you reach out to your customers and let them know what you’re up to? How do you express your mission and vision to your community? How do you create an ongoing campaign that maximizes the return on your investment? We’ll help you find the answers you need so that we can start to build your plan together. You need someone to help you come up for air, look around, assess the situation, and help you dive deep into the solution that fits your specific needs.

If you would like to learn more about our process of working with clients to focus goals, manage projects and achieve best outcomes, please get in touch and let’s talk about it. I’m happy to help in any way that I can. Without a doubt, my favorite part of the job has been getting to know and work with our clients. I look forward to talking with you.
