Web/video conferencing

Telemedicine

Doxy.me https://doxy.me/ offers healthcare providers an array of HIPAA-compliant tools for telemedicine, including HD video, live chat, and patient queueing.

Signing Documents

DocuSign https://www.docusign.com/ and SignNow https://www.signnow.com/ are robust, easy-to-use tools for obtaining signatures electronically.

Scanning Documents

If you need the ability to scan documents from home securely, we recommended Microsoft’s Office Lens https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/p/office-lens/9wzdncrfj3t8 or Scannable https://evernote.com/products/scannable which allow scanning from your PC or even your phone.

Faxing

If you depend heavily on faxing, you may want to look at tools such as eFax https://www.efax.com/ or Fax.Plus https://www.fax.plus/ which offer the ability to fax documents directly from your computer or even your phone with an app.

Phone Systems

Some phone systems (digital or “VoIP” systems) offer the ability to use a “softphone,” which is an app on your cell phone which lets you call through your office phone system, so that your calls appear to be coming from your office.
